Which devices are compatible with the Oskey app?
The Golden Rule: The Operating System (OS) Version
For the Oskey app to work, your device's operating system (OS) must meet a minimum version requirement. This is the most important criterion.
For Apple devices (iPhone/iPad): You must have iOS 15 or a later version.
For Android devices: The app requires Android 9 (Pie) or a later version.
💡 Special Case: Huawei
Currently, the Oskey app is not compatible with Harmony OS Next. Our technical teams are actively working to extend our app's compatibility, and we will keep you updated on future developments.
Compatibility Lists by Model
To guide you, here are lists of examples based on the most frequent inquiries.
✅ Confirmed Compatibility
The following model series are confirmed to be compatible, as they natively support the required OS versions and offer a stable experience:
Apple:
iPhones: iPhone SE (2nd gen+), iPhone X/XR/XS, and all iPhone 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 series.
iPads: iPad (5th gen+), iPad Air 2+, iPad mini 4+, and all iPad Pro models.
Samsung: Galaxy A50 series and higher, Galaxy S10 series and higher.
Google Pixel: Pixel 3 series and higher.
OnePlus: OnePlus 7 series and higher.
🟠 At-Risk Compatibility
The following models may technically work but are at the end of their support life. Performance issues are possible, and compatibility is not guaranteed:
Apple iPhone 6s, 7, 8: (These models are at the limit of their software support with iOS 15 and may experience slowness.)
Samsung Galaxy S9 / S9+: (Although they can be updated to Android 9/10, these models are old, and their stability is no longer guaranteed.)
❌ Known Incompatible Models
The following popular models are known to be INCOMPATIBLE due to OS version limitations or the end of security support:
Samsung Galaxy A6: (The maximum Android version for this model is insufficient.)
Google Pixel 1 and Pixel 2: (These models no longer receive any security updates, which represents a risk.)
My device is not on the list?
If your model does not appear in any of these lists, refer to the Golden Rule. If its operating system version is equal to or higher than the required versions, your device is most likely compatible.
