How to manage calls from the Oskey Intercom+?
Receiving and Answering a Call from the Intercom+
When someone rings your building's intercom, you'll receive a call notification directly on your phone via the Oskey app.
Answering the Call: When you answer the call, a call interface appears on your phone. You can then interact with your visitor vocally. It's important to note that your visitor cannot see you; they can only hear you through the Intercom+.
Opening the Door During a Call: The call interface on your phone includes a button allowing you to remotely unlock the door for your visitor.
⚠️ To be able to receive calls from Intercom+ on your device, you must first have enabled notifications for the Oskey app.
Who Can Receive Calls
By default, only residents registered with an Oskey account and who have the app installed can receive Intercom+ calls. If you want someone in your apartment to be able to answer calls (for example, if you're unavailable or if they don't have a personal Oskey account), you can install the Oskey app on a tablet left in the apartment and connect it to your account or that of another resident authorized to receive calls.
Handling a Call if No Answer
If you miss an Intercom+ call, or if you decline it, it will be automatically forwarded to the other residents on your call list, in the order you previously defined. You can configure this call list and its order in the Oskey app.
Changing Your Name on Intercom+
To change the name displayed on the Intercom+ contact list, follow these simple steps:
From the app, open the Menu.
Select the Devices option. The list of devices associated with your building will be displayed.
Choose one of your Intercom+ devices.
Click Name(s).
Select your name to edit it.
Click Save changes. Your name is instantly updated on all Intercom+ devices in your building.
💡 Note that your property manager may prohibit changes to the names displayed on the Intercom+ from the app. For more details on the rules in effect in your building, contact your manager.
Managing Incoming Calls in Specific Situations
Receiving an Intercom+ call during an existing phone call:
Managing an Intercom+ call while you're already on a phone call varies slightly depending on your device:
On iPhone (iOS): You will have the option to take the second call, which will put the initial caller on hold. To view the video and control the door release, you will need to manually open the Oskey app.
On Android: You can usually take the Intercom+ call directly without having to manually open the Oskey app. Your current phone call will be put on hold or managed according to your phone's settings, and you will have access to the Oskey call interface (video and door release) without any major interruptions.
